Job summary

Advocate Health's Supply Chain: Operations in Cleveland is seeking a full-time Materials Handler to receive, store and issue supplies, and to ensure accurate documentation and safe handling of goods.

Typical duties include processing transactions, using PC and RF scanner, supervising receiving and distribution, and maintaining clean, secure storage areas. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may require a valid driver’s license. 40 hours/week, 7-3:30 M-F, every 4th weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent and related work experience preferred.
• Depending on facility, position may require a valid driver's license (no violations in last 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores and issues supplies, including identification, counts and processes issued supply documents.
• Processes transactions accurately and timely using PC and RF scanner technologies.
• Reviews and verifies all documentation for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Operates equipment safely and transports goods to storage areas.
• Supervises receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Maintains secure, orderly storage environments and reports issues.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
