Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a per diem logistics teammate to support the supply chain at Lakeland Hospital. The role involves receiving, verifying, and distributing supplies with attention to accuracy and safety.

No weekend or holiday shifts, with standard weekday hours. Candidates should be comfortable with basic data entry and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating material handling equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and use basic data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials and inspects items for accuracy and condition.
• Maintains accurate records for receipt, storage and distribution.
• Distributes supplies and equipment to facilities or departments as required.
• Ensures timely distribution in response to requests and purchase orders.
• Maintains inventory levels and processes issue/return transactions.
• Replenishes carts and kits and checks for outdated supplies.
• Packages returns to vendors as instructed and ensures proper follow-up.
• Keeps working areas clean and secure; follows documentation procedures.
