Job summary

Rothschild & Co North America seeks an Associate for Healthcare Investment Banking in New York, supporting M&A, restructuring, and capital markets advisory across healthcare sectors. The role involves cross-border collaboration with NA teams and global colleagues on international transactions.

You will oversee financial modelling, prepare pitches, and lead multiple work streams while maintaining high standards of analysis and client service. A strong background in healthcare M&A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance from a leading academic institution.
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree in Finance preferred.
• Prior experience within a top-tier corporate finance adviser/investment bank in M&A required.
• Prior Healthcare M&A experience at an advisory firm or investment bank required.

Responsibilities

• Execute live deals in Healthcare including sell-side/buy-side M&A, spin-offs, LBOs, Debt/Equity Advisory with cross-border emphasis.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation, comparables and sensitivities; build three-statement models.
• Lead analysis of corporate finance transactions to review strategic alternatives and capital markets events.
• Prepare client pitches and marketing materials for acquisitions, disposals, mergers, refinancing and equity/debt options.
• Conduct extensive industry and company research and analysis for cross-border deals.
• Manage analysts and oversee multiple work streams.
• Attend client meetings, industry conferences, and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and confidentiality policies.
