Job summary

Lockton is seeking a Loss Control Healthcare Consultant to advise clients on healthcare-related risk, focusing on Auto, General Liability, Property, and Workers’ Compensation exposures. The role emphasizes risk reduction, training, and data analysis to lower total cost of risk.

You will develop and implement loss control plans, assess facilities, and collaborate with clients to achieve measurable safety improvements while traveling up to 50% of the time across client sites.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of experience in loss control.
• Data analytics experience to include excel spreadsheets is required.
• Superior communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations preferred.
• Understands industry trends and governmental regulations.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time. Both car and air travel.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify and review loss exposures across Auto, General Liability, Property and Workers’ Compensation.
• Develop risk control action plans to reduce total cost of risk.
• Provide training and guidance on safety measures and guidelines.
• Analyze loss history and trends to inform recommendations and underwriting decisions.
• Survey locations, equipment, and practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement risk control programs.
