Job summary

Mercury Logistics is seeking a Logistics Guide in Columbus, Ohio, on-site to join a fast-moving team supporting healthcare and life science shipments. You will own the client experience, track shipments, and resolve issues in real time to ensure timely delivery.

You’ll collaborate with carriers and internal partners, review documents for compliance, and use our Transportation Management System and Mercury CRM to keep data clean and actionable. Join us to move critical shipments forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, customer support, or operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under tight deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solver with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning new tools and systems in a startup environment.
• Positive, team‑oriented, and driven to continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Own the client experience as first contact via email, phone, and portal to ensure every shipment moves smoothly from pickup to delivery.
• Deliver fast, accurate solutions; coordinate with carriers to keep shipments on track.
• Monitor shipments in real time and communicate updates proactively.
• Review domestic and international documents for accuracy and customs readiness.
• Use Transportation Management System and Mercury CRM to keep data clean and actionable.
• Collaborate with teammates, carriers, and operations leadership to identify better processes and eliminate friction for clients.
