Job summary

BioTouch is seeking a Receiving Clerk for our Columbus, GA facility to manage receipt, storage, labeling and distribution of products. The role focuses on accuracy, safety, and efficient warehouse operations, with daily documentation and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and proven shipping/receiving experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Onsite work, with emphasis on safety and precise inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse role.
• Basic computer skills including inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and documented for timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities, including data entry into inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and other departments to manage inventory levels and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all shipping and receiving processes.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts and audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule shipments and resolve issues.
