Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of litigation experience.
• Healthcare litigation or healthcare regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with depositions, briefs, investigations, and subpoenas responses.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent client communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Massachusetts Bar admission or eligibility to waive into Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation in state and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration.
• Conduct depositions, draft briefs, and respond to subpoenas.
• Assist with internal investigations and state and federal government investigations.
• Handle administrative litigation, including rate and audit appeals, licensing matters, and sanctions appeals.
• Represent licensed healthcare professionals before licensing boards.
• Advise clients on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.
• Assist clients with incident response, risk management, and other practical legal matters.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys specializing in investigations, licensing, certification, and healthcare transactions.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients' business objectives and provide practical, actionable legal advice.
