Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment safely, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while upholding infection control standards and reporting maintenance needs.

You will interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering courteous service and supporting a welcoming environment. High school diploma preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
