Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility, ensuring supplies are available for residents and staff.

You will operate laundry equipment, follow infection control policies, and interact positively with residents and colleagues. A high school diploma is preferred and training is provided; residency within service area required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and handling cleaning products safely.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and garments.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues.
• Follow infection control policies to keep a sanitary environment.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
