Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Linen Technician responsible for stocking linen carts to par levels and delivering them to units in a timely fashion. The role also involves classifying clean linen, loading/unloading laundry carts, and providing back-up coverage as needed.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of healthcare or hotel housekeeping experience. Strong reading and writing skills are required to follow verbal and written instructions and to support

Responsibilities

• Stock clean linen carts with the appropriate par levels and deliver to units.
• Classify clean linen and unload/load laundry trucks.
• Back-up coverage and assist in training new co-workers as required.
• Pick up soiled linen from units on a scheduled basis and load carts for delivery to laundry.
