Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure a steady supply of clean fabrics and support resident comfort through attentive service.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, adherence to infection control protocols, and reliable teamwork. A high school diploma is preferred; prior laundry experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
