Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock clean linen carts to par levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Deliver clean linen carts to units/floors in a timely fashion.
• Classify clean linen and maintain organized storage areas.
• Unload/load commercial laundry carts and trucks as needed.
• Assist in training new co-workers and provide back-up coverage when required.

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

Responsible for stocking clean linen carts with the appropriate par levels, delivering clean linen carts to units/floors in a timely fashion. Responsible for classification of clean linen. Responsible for back-up coverage and for assisting in the training of new co-workers as required. Responsible for unloading all Commercial Laundry carts, placing linen neatly on clean designated shelves. Responsible for loading/unloading commercial laundry truck. Responsible for picking up soiled linen from units on a scheduled basis and loading carts for delivery to laundry.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

One year of healthcare or hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

None.

Other Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and understand both verbal and written instructions.
