Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking an Operations Manager in Missouri to lead day-to-day plant operations, drive safety and quality, and partner with the General Manager to execute the site’s strategy. You will oversee production, inventory, and distribution coordination in a healthcare-focused manufacturing environment.

You will manage labor, optimize costs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet KPI targets and ensure on-time service delivery.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in manufacturing or process-oriented operations.
• Minimum 3 years in a plant-level leadership or production management role.
• Experience managing supervisors and frontline employees.
• Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and distribution coordination.
• Healthcare, medical device, or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence experience preferred.
• Strong operational executor with attention to detail.
• Financially aware and cost-conscious decision maker.
• Effective communicator with cross-department influence.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations including medical instruments and linens.
• Ensure production schedules meet customer demand and service requirements.
• Drive consistency across shifts and departments.
• Monitor KPIs: safety, quality, productivity, cost, service.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control efforts.
• Manage labor efficiency, overtime, and inventory accuracy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Forecast production volumes and staffing needs.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Improve workflows and production planning processes.
