Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, follow infection control policies, and provide courteous service to residents and staff.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required; residency within the service area applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
