Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transporting laundry containers of soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial and residential washers and dryers.
• Load soiled linen into washers and clean linen into dryers.
• Fold clean linens and place into carts.
• Keep accurate linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute customer clothing.
• Maintain laundry areas and equipment; keep areas neat and safe.
• Follow all nursing center policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified.
• Provide high quality customer service in a compassionate atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as requested.
