Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking an Associate for a 2-year entry-level role within the Business Development & Licensing team to help assess technologies and assist in intellectual property management.

The position offers exposure to commercialization strategies, licensing discussions, and collaboration with clinicians, researchers, and industry partners, with a hybrid work arrangement at our Revolution Drive location.

Qualifications

• PhD with strong interest in commercialization of early-stage healthcare innovations.
• Curiosity with deep interest in learning about new technologies, inventions and deal process.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize effectively and concurrently manage multiple opportunities and relationships with competing deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal, writing, presentation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clinicians, investigators, innovators in assigned domains of disease and/or therapeutic modality.
• Conducts assessments of commercial market, unmet need, patentability and stage of development on early stage medical innovations.
• Assists with management of intellectual property portfolios.
• Shadows and contributes to the drafting of intellectual property agreements.
