Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Manager Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt to lead enterprise-level performance improvement across quality, experience, access, cost and workforce effectiveness. You will develop improvement capabilities and partner with executive and clinical leaders to embed Lean operations.

You will manage a team, oversee multiple project portfolios, and present progress to stakeholders while driving sustained results aligned with CHRISTUS Health priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Expert with Lean-Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work full-time in a hospital, clinic, or office environment required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coaches, and mentors Lean Transformation team members to ensure quality deliverables.
• Leads 2-4 concurrent enterprise level project portfolios targeting significant system change.
• Creates a productive environment for associates with structured, actionable discussions.
• Oversees Lean projects, workshops, and Kaizens delivering sustained improvements.
• Presents to executives and leaders to align on outcomes and progress.
• Transforms root cause analysis into actionable improvements impacting quality, safety, access, cost or experience.
• Monitors KPIs and quality metrics across management levels.
• Develops strong relationships with customers, associates, executives, physicians, vendors, and visitors.
• Chairs committees and supports development of new PI services and programs.
