Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, ensure sanitary conditions, and interact with residents and staff to provide excellent service.

Starting pay is USD $15.00 per hour, with benefits and on-the-job training supported by HCSG. Residency in the service area is required, and the role emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
