Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will ensure cleanliness, organize distribution, and support residents and staff with courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
