Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help keep linens and garments clean and available for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and deliver items, and follow infection control policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and good communication with residents and staff. Previous laundry experience is welcome but not required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants and leadership.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep records and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Provide positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
