Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, follow safety and infection-control practices, and ensure timely distribution of clean items to residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reliable, friendly communication with teammates and residents. Training is provided along with available employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
