Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to help keep linens and garments clean for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute laundry, and assist with daily tasks in a respectful, service-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn, reliability, and a team attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
