Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous experience in healthcare laundering processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Folds and sorts laundry (blankets, sheets, towels, and personal clothing).
• Hangs clothes on racks according to name and numbers.
• Delivers patient/resident laundry to designated areas.
• Ensures clothes are ready to wear and properly stored.
• Follows MSDS precautions for all chemicals used.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens; maintains equipment and area.
