Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Folds and sorts laundry (blankets, sheets, towels, personal clothing).
• Hangs clothes on racks according to name and numbers.
• Delivers patient/resident laundry to designated areas.
• Ensures clothes are ready to wear and in good condition.
• Follows MSDS precautions for all chemicals used.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Keeps equipment clean and follows cleaning schedules.
• Maintains a clean and organized laundry area; sweeps and mops as needed.
• Reports repairs to maintenance when necessary.
• Operates washers/dryers and related equipment.
• Handles soiled laundry correctly and disinfects linen carts per policy.
