Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and clothing for residents in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and responsive service to residents and staff.

Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, strong communication, and ability to follow infection control policies while handling laundry operations and equipment. Training and ongoing support provided, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products and follow infection control/safety policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
