Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure supply availability and support a sanitary, comfortable living environment.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items, and interact with residents and staff to provide friendly, responsive service. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to follow infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
