Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. Join a team dedicated to sanitary environments and high-quality service for the communities we serve.

You will perform laundry duties, adhere to safety and infection control policies, and interact positively with residents and staff. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Residence within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
