Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will handle laundry processes from sorting to distribution, while adhering to infection control policies and delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities include operating machines safely, keeping records, and collaborating with the team to ensure availability of clean textiles. This position is on-site and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
