Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant in Massachusetts to perform cleaning duties within Dietary Services, Garnish patient trays, load/unload trays, and stock condiment bars across multiple areas.

Essential tasks include dishroom, pot area, coffee shop, cafeteria and kitchen support, sweeping and mopping, waste removal, and organizing utensils. High school degree preferred; flu vaccination required; reading/writing English essential. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree preferred.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration: none.
• Skills: Capable of following oral and written instructions. Manual dexterity required. One to three months to become proficient in all basic duties. Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Work in Dishroom: Strip patient trays and scrape dishes.
• Work in pot area: Operate, load and unload pot machine. Manually wash pots and utensils.
• Work in Coffee Shop: Clean and stock Coffee Shop. Operate and load dish machine.
