Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring for a Dietary Services associate responsible for cleaning and supporting meal service across multiple areas, including the dishroom, pot area, coffee shop, cafeteria, kitchen, and trayline. Duties include stocking, sanitizing, washing dishes and pots, and delivering trays to nursing units.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow written and oral instructions, and a high school degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree preferred.
• Skills: Capable of following oral and written instructions.
• Manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Work in Dishroom: strip trays, operate dish machines, unload and stock dishes, store items, sort silverware, clean tables, sweep and mop floors.
• Work in Pot area: wash pots and utensils, operate POWER SOAK and sinks, store items, break down trayline and sinks.
• Work in Coffee Shop: clean and stock, operate dish machine, unload and stock dishes.
• Work in Cafeteria: replenish condiment area, clean vending area and microwave.
• Work in Kitchen/Trayline: sweep, mop, load/unload trays, deliver to nursing units, clean equipment.
• All related cleaning tasks within Food & Nutrition Services as prescribed.
