Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a dedicated food service teammate focused on sanitation and patient meals. You will support kitchen operations, deliver patient meal cards, and help maintain clean, safe, and efficient service areas in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Sanitation experience in food service operation or equivalent sanitation experience.
• Ability to follow time and duties and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meal cards to floors on service elevators and returns trays to the kitchen.
• Cleans and sanitizes all cooking utensils, pots, pans and equipment.
• Returns items to proper storage locations and maintains clean workspaces.
• Follows established Time and Duties procedures and participates in meetings as required.
• Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
