Job summary

Hygea Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen in a healthcare setting. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and equipment while following infection control standards.

You will operate commercial washing equipment, assist with basic food preparation and waste removal, and help keep service areas tidy and compliant with health regulations. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in kitchen or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with dishwashing equipment.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/ CPR certification (roughly $14.95)

Responsibilities

• Sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment per facility standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manage detergents and sanitizers.
• Assist in food preparation and setup of service areas.
• Dispose of waste according to policies and infection control guidelines.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to supervisor.
