Job summary

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a reliable Dishwasher (Part-Time) for our healthcare kitchen in Rupert, Idaho. The role ensures dishware and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to support safe, efficient service.

Shifts are 4:30pm-8pm with holiday/weekend coverage. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, willingness to learn ServSafe and OSHA guidelines, and the ability to stand for long periods while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read labels on chemicals and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to adhere to workplace procedures per OSHA guidelines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils and kitchen tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including floors, trash bins and food prep surfaces.
• Set up/clear pot washing area and 3-comp sink area.
• Check wash/rinse temperatures and record as required.
• Restock cleaned items in appropriate locations for kitchen and service staff.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.
