Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for temporary COOK positions at Progress West in O Fallon, MO 63368. The role involves preparing meals per standards to ensure quality, safety, and timely service for patients, caregivers, and staff.

The schedule is temporary with shifts from 6.30 am to 2.30 pm or 10.30 am to 7.30 pm, with rotating weekends. Prior healthcare kitchen experience is a plus and opportunities for temporary to permanent placement may arise.

Qualifications

• Temporary cook position in healthcare kitchen.
• Previous healthcare kitchen experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and timelines.
• Ensure meals meet temperature, portion, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in kitchen areas.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory as required.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions.
