Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a Cook to prepare food according to menus, recipes, and planned events for residents and their guests in a healthcare setting. You will work with the dining team to ensure meals are prepared on time and meet safety and quality standards.

You will label and store items, monitor temperatures, follow sanitary procedures, assist the Dining Director with kitchen operations, and help create a clean, comfortable dining environment while upholding nutrition standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Technical training and prior food service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all aspects of food preparation and serving for residents as required.
• Manage culinary preparation, execution, and serving according to menus/recipes.
• Label, date, cover, and store all food items properly.
• Maintain temperatures and monitor safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist Dining Director with kitchen operations and related duties.
• Create a clean, safe environment while delivering high-quality nutrition.
