Job summary

Forefront is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring patient safety and dietary compliance. You will assist in all meal preparation for residents, families, and staff, and help with delivering and taking orders as needed.

Under the direction of the Chef Manager or Director, you will follow standardized recipes, monitor temperatures, complete production worksheets, and maintain sanitation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prepare meals according to recipes and service standards.
• Complete production worksheets and waste logs.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Notify Chef Manager or Director of supplies or equipment needs.
• Report equipment breakdowns and unsafe conditions to the Chef Manager or Director.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and audits.
