Lemont-Nursing-and-Rehab is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in a safe, sanitary kitchen environment. The role involves collaborating with the dietary team to meet resident dietary needs, delivering meals to patient areas, and upholding strict sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with the dietary team and maintain a positive working environment.
• Availability to work scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Recent experience as a Cook in a healthcare environment (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve daily meals in accordance with resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring sanitation and safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up the tray line and ensure timely delivery of meal trays to patient areas.
• Work in the dish room and maintain high sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and team members to ensure meal satisfaction.
