Lemontree Healthcare Services LLC in Lauderdale Lakes, FL is seeking a Full Time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for patients and staff. You will work with the kitchen team to follow dietary guidelines and handle special requests, while maintaining safety and quality.

Shifts rotate and include some weekends; compensation is hourly between $16 and $18, with benefits like health and vision insurance and a 401k. Prior healthcare or institutional cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality, taste, and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following food safety guidelines.
• Assist with meal plating and presentation to be visually appealing.
• Help manage food inventory, rotate stock, and maintain portion control.
• Assist Lead Cook and Kitchen Manager with meal plans and preparation schedules.
• Coordinate with dietary staff to accommodate patient-specific dietary needs.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety practices in the kitchen.
• Assist in preparing special meals for holidays or events as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on menus and patient feedback.
