Job summary

Baystate Health, home to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Cook for a full-time, 40-hour week on 2nd shift (11:00am–7:30pm) with every-other-weekend rotation. The role requires safe, sanitary food handling, adherence to recipes, and capability to operate production equipment.

English fluency is required. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSet preferred.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Handle hot and cold foods with proper hygiene and safety procedures.
• Maintain HACCP, JCAHO, and DPH logs as directed.
• Assist with production cooking and line service as needed.
• Operate and sanitize production equipment and utensils.
