Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cook experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Serve meals on time and at correct temperature and presentation.
• Follow portion control and safe food-handling practices.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment in health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory, storage, and supply rotation.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager and team to meet resident needs.
