RWJBarnabas Health in Morris County, NJ, is seeking a Cook for the Morris Cancer Center. You will follow recipes and dietary requirements, ensure sanitation, and support patient meal service in a high-production healthcare kitchen.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 3–5 years of grill or high-volume cooking experience. The role is full-time, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with rotating weekends/holidays, hourly pay, and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Three to five years of grill or high-volume cooking experience preferred.
• Experience in high-production food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all recipes to conform with dietary restrictions.
• Follow correct procedures for handling raw and cooked products according to sanitary guidelines.
• Follow department dress code requirements.
• Follow sanitary guidelines for personal hygiene.
• Maintain the proper production schedule, so food is ready in a timely manner.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu.
• Properly store all prepared foods using the FIFO system at all times.
• The report identified safety issues and hazardous environmental conditions according to established procedures.
