Job summary

Responsibilities include adhering to HACCP and health guidelines, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring safe food handling for a high-risk population. Experience in healthcare food service and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety regulations in a healthcare food service environment.
• Strong communication in English and basic math.
• Ability to complete mandatory computer-based training and pass exams.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification or eligibility required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety following HACCP and local health guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas free of spills and hazards.
• Prepare meals according to recipes using appropriate cooking methods.
• Monitor temperatures and properly label and rotate food supplies.
• Support team members and complete area checklists and forms.
