Job summary

Parkland Health seeks an IT Solution Architect to design, build, and operate core healthplan solutions. You will guide Analysts on build options and collaborate with vendors to implement planned systems.

Requirements include 5 years in healthcare IT implementations, 3 years in a Solution Architect role, and strong REST/SOAP, API, and cloud skills. Hybrid work with a focus on secure, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; healthcare related field acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in IS/CS or healthcare field preferred.
• 5 years delivering healthcare IT solutions using HTTP/XML/JSON and .Net across SOAP/REST.
• 3 years as Solution Architect or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and deploys system solutions across PCHP's QNXT and CAE platform.
• Leads technical research to optimize IT solutions and ensure efficiencies.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, vendors, and IT-BI teams to plan capabilities.
• Produces design specs and guides analysts to build, test, and deploy solutions.
• Leads testing strategies including unit, integration, and UAT across environments.
• Mentors IT staff and assists in cost estimates and budgets.
• Maintains architecture documents and data models for enterprise reuse.
• Ensures solutions meet security, privacy, performance, and throughput requirements.
