Job summary

Atos is seeking a Capital Improvement Technology Project Manager within the Hospital Information Systems project management group in Aurora, IL. The role leads complex healthcare projects from inception to completion, aligning clinical processes with operational goals and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

Responsibilities include developing plans, managing budgets and schedules, and facilitating clear communication among clinicians, IS analysts, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time paid work experience in healthcare administration or project management.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time paid work experience utilizing MS Project or a comparable project management tool.
• Familiarity with Cerner technology is preferred due to its widespread use in healthcare information systems.
• Master’s degree in public health, Healthcare Policy, or an equivalent degree.
• Certification in Project Management (CAPM).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, risk logs, issues logs, status reports, and performance metrics from concept through completion.
• Handle issues analysis, resolution, and tracking activities, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
• Focus on clinical process improvement and healthcare redesign, integrating clinical and operational practices with teams.
• Support hospital-based services in achieving performance targets by reviewing performance data and trends, maintaining dashboards.
• Engage with clinic leadership to promote patient-centered care through data training and process improvements.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of each project, ensuring proper documentation and communication across projects.
