Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in health IT project coordination or equivalent.
• Certifications: CPHIMS or PMP.
• Experience with EHR systems such as RPMS and NextGen is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans and schedules for health IT initiatives.
• Coordinate implementation and integration of EHR systems and healthcare applications.
• Translate clinical requirements into technical specifications for stakeholders.
• Act as the primary contact for health IT projects and provide timely updates.
• Prepare meeting materials and track action items related to health technology projects.
• Maintain master schedules ensuring alignment with priorities and compliance.
• Track progress, risks, and issues and provide viable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Facilitate vendor coordination for EHR procurement, configuration, and deployment.
• Support staff training and onboarding for EHR and health IT systems.
