Job summary

Oceans Healthcare is seeking a Network Administrator to maintain and secure our hospital-grade networks in Plano, TX. You will manage hardware, software, backups, and security while ensuring HIPAA compliance in daily operations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with clinical and IT teams to minimize downtime and protect patient data. Travel may be required, and a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with networking focus.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
• Experience with Cisco, firewalls, VOIP and SD-WAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and administers company networks and computing environments.
• Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups.
• Protects data and network security through planned measures.
• Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network issues.
• Replaces faulty network hardware components as needed.
• Configures and monitors antivirus and email security software.
