Job summary

Masonicare's IT team is seeking a Junior Analyst to assist end users with basic tech support and routine tasks within the Office of Community Engagement. The role supports clinicians, staff, and administrators with system access, devices, and software in a patient-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, assisting with onboarding, and helping with upgrades and testing. The position requires strong communication and a willingness to learn in a federal work-study

Qualifications

• Interest in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, or healthcare technology.
• Basic technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to learn new systems, follow procedures, protect confidential information, and ask for guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist end users with basic troubleshooting involving system access, workflows, navigation, and functionality.
• Support nurses, clinicians, therapists, providers, and administrative staff with routine technology needs.
• Assist with account setup, access requests, role-based permissions, and onboarding technology tasks.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, system procedures, and commonly used solutions.
• Help monitor and update IT service tickets while providing professional customer service.
• Support application upgrades, user acceptance testing, workflow validation, and enhancement projects.
• Assist with connected devices, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other approved equipment.
• Follow HIPAA, privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements when working with systems and information.
