OrthoAlaska, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Director to lead IT operations across multiple clinics, ensuring secure, available clinical and business systems. The role involves hands-on leadership, vendor management, and coordination with the COO to execute technology strategy.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in IT, including 3+ years supervising staff, with experience in NextGen, NovaRAD, HL7 interfaces, and a strong security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 7+ years in IT, including 3+ years supervising IT staff.
• Preferred: Master’s degree (MIS, MBA, or health informatics).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networks, Microsoft 365, and Windows server environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day IT operations for OrthoAlaska, LLC, a multispecialty practice.
• Manage IT team and escalations; vendor issues and system changes.
• Oversee EHR (NextGen), PACS/RIS (NovaRAD), and clinical application support.
• Coordinate HL7 interfaces with labs, imaging, and health information exchanges.
• Partner with clinical and revenue cycle leaders on templates, workflows, and reporting.
• Manage networks, servers, telephony, endpoints, and backups across locations.
• Own disaster recovery and business continuity plans; annual testing.
• Implement HIPAA security controls and lead security risk analyses.
• Plan and deliver IT projects on schedule and within budget; manage vendors.
