Job summary

Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, IA seeks an Information Technology Director for a full-time daytime role. Lead policy development, hardware/software maintenance, and network basics while providing end-user support and ongoing maintenance.

The ideal candidate will train staff, coordinate IT projects, and enforce privacy and security standards. An associate degree or 5+ years IT experience is required; healthcare familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years IT experience required.
• Experience with PC hardware, Windows OS, and networks preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains hospital IT policies and procedures.
• Manages hardware/software configuration, setup, maintenance and repair.
• Provides end-user support and ongoing maintenance.
• Authors IT documentation and guides.
• Trains hospital staff on computer hardware and software.
• Oversees IT department employees and on-call rotation as needed.
• Ensures privacy and security in all IT operations.
