Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist for Infrastructure to lead the standards and governance of our physical infrastructure, including data centers, cabling, electrical, and HVAC systems.

This role partners with IT Infrastructure, enterprise architects, project managers, and vendors to plan, evaluate, and implement transformative technologies that support data, server, voice, video, and 3rd party equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding of ANSI/BISCI standards and healthcare ICT practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the deep technical expert for the applications supported by the team.
• Lead cross-team technical collaboration and design contingency plans.
• Review designs and coordinate vendors for construction and renovation projects.
• Develop technology strategy and standards for infrastructure technologies.
• Oversee 3rd party vendors to ensure timely, quality services.
• Conduct site visits for QA, RFIs, and vendor meetings.
